The variants of the DEB usage depend on imagination of a designer and the features of a concrete external advertising. Some variants of lightdynamic advertising on the fluorescent lamps haven't any design working-ups, so they're assigned below just like some ideas.

Advertising of the list of services, products or the names of organizations

In this case light-box is divided into the intercepting cells, agreed for one or for some lamps.

"Light dynamization" of the ligft-boxes

align="justify"In the simplest case the backlighting of the light-box or of the city-light switches on and switches off with a certain frequency. If you divide the light-box (or a city-light) into the light intercepting cells, you'll have an ability of operating by the elements of an image.

"Light dynamization" of the light letters

It's possible to create visibility of writing the advertising symbols. You can backlight the first, then add the second, etc, until you'll backlight all the symbols in a certain time. After that all the symbols will fade and the next cycle begins in which you can also change the sequence of the backlightings.
Depending on the arrangement of the light intercepting partitions you can backlight some letters both individually (picture 6a) and in combination (picture 6b).

As we speak about large gabarits, one letter (or a symbol) can be backlighted by some lamps, which are simultaneously lighted/faded. Besides that this increases brightness, evenness of a glowing and reliability.

Guide signs.

Fluorescent lamps are placed in a hermitic contact clip, in acrylic pipe or in a special chest. Configuration of the placement in a common case can be piecewise-linear (it is not necessary to do it in line). Picture 7 shows the example of a 4-element guide sign realization. In the simplest case the backlighting of each element may be realized with the assistance of one lamp. The usage of two lamps will increase brightness, evenness of a glowing and reliability. A dark-blue (smalt) tape (8500 series) is glued on the right side of acryl, and a stencil from the opaque tape is glued on the inside of acryl.

Advertising symbols and facades framing.

On the external edge of the signboard (facade) the fluorescent lamps are placed in a hermitic contact clip, in acrylic pipe or in a special chest. At that to this assortment may be included the lamps of a different power (18W, 28W, 36W) and shape (linear, round). Depending on a shape and a size of a signboard we can offer such variants of an arrangement of the fluorescent lamps as: square, rectangle, diamond, polygon.

It's possible to control every lamp singly depending on running program, and, so, to create such light effects as "running fires", "running shadows" etc.

Round-the-clock lightdynamic advertising

It's possible to realize the lightdynamic advertising not only in a traditional night time, but also in a daytime. This possibility will make the efficacy of this advertising much better. In this case from the right side of acryl we can use a dull dark tape (8500 series), and from the inside of acryl we can create a stencil of an appropriate image or a text with the assistance of the opaque tapes. So, when the lamp(s) is(are) switched on, the light fragment of a text or an image which is agreed with a stencil is watched on the dark background. It is possible to make a visibility of writing of some words or letters. Pictures 9a, 9b, 9d show the examples of usage of such advertising with the assistance of dark-blue, dark-green and dark-red tapes.
It's possible to get a multicolored image due to the usage of an extra colour a multicolored clear (gauzy) tape, which is glued on a stencil. For example, when you use an extra yellow gauzy tape from the stencil's side, you'll get a green image at a dark-blue background (but not a light-blue image).

Other ideas

  1. Lightdynamic background creation.
    Fluorescent lamps are placed in a light-box (or a city-light). Light intercepted partitions for each lamp or for the group of lamps can be placed in a light-box. Depending on the control lamp algorithm we can create lightdynamic waves, which can move in a right-left, left-right, down-up, up-down, moving to the center and from center directions. Control lamp algorithm would be set with the assistance of external control unit, which is placed in the advertising construction, however it's remoted console with toggles (which position determines their lamp control program) can be placed in 20 meters from the advertising construction in the convenient place (we must set 4 wires for this). So it's possible to choose rapidly one of the control programs. For example, one day wave runs from left to right, and another day in other direction. It's also possible to create complex programs, which consist from more simple programs and which are chosen automatically with a certain periodicity. For example, in a left-right direction for 5 minutes, in a up-down direction for 10 minutes etc
  2. Discrete brightness control
    Groups of fluorescent lamps are placed uniformly at the light-box (or a city-light). If all the fluorescent lamps divide to 4 groups, we can obtain 5 brightness levels of the light field.
  3. Multicolored lightdynamic background creation.
    For this purpose it's necessary to use colored lamps (or ordinary lamps with light filters), which can be united in the appropriate light groups, which are placed in a whole light-box (or a city-light) area equally. For example, when we have 3 groups of fluorescent lamps (green, blue and red lamps), which are placed in a whole area equally, it's possible to create the light field not only of appropriated colors, but also of intermediate colors, due to the simultaneous switching of 2 lamp groups. It's also possible to use simultaneously the multicolored background with ability of lightdynamic wave creation (see p.1)
